Cinemagraph Creations

I wanted to make the soda move in the photo. As you can see, I wanted to put some affect on it yet you can still see the cinemagraph.

I wanted to move only one flag in this cinemagraph. I also edited sleeping giant and made the trees all have different shade of green.

I really wanted the flame to be highlighted in this cinemagraph. I decided to try and make it look a little 3D. I also made it bright and more of an orange to make it stand out more. I made the background of the candle darker to really highlight the flame.

Stop Motion Creations

I created pennies that created the letter “K” and then stacked the pennies and scattered them across the table. This was my first time doing a stop motion video and it was challenging even though it was a simple piece. It was kinda surprising how many different photos you have to take to make the video longer. But, overall is what fun creating a video out of pictures.

My final stop motion animation was challenging. It took a lot of shots to get all of the pictures right. Because I hand drew each character, it was very challenging trying to get each character to look the same in each picture. The music I wanted to have it tell a “our story” of the girl and the guy. Overall, it was a fun challenging project.

Logo Stinger

I enjoyed creating a logo stinger even though it was challenging. I haven’t used Illustrator for this before so it was very new. It was hard creating each part to move. But, I wanted to make something cheerful as to why my background music is up lifting. The background of my logo stinger is something I hope one day I can make happen. It would be called “K Communications”. The K stands for my middle name Keala which is what I go by. I hope one day I can actually use this logo stinger.

Interface Motion

I thought this weeks animation was fun to create. I thought it was cool watching it all come together. I did find getting everything to flow together a little challenging. I also found the “finger” challenging. I couldn’t quite figure out how to get the finger to look like it was clicking and make it look realistic. With my background music, I wanted something uplifting and to go with the word I had in the text. With my background being Hawaiian, Aloha is used a lot in my family and whenever I think about Hawaii or my Hawaiian heritage, I find it happy and it makes me smile. So, I wanted to have my audio be happy and up lifting. Overall, I enjoyed this project even if it was a little challenging. I am always up for a challenge!

Final Animation

In my final animation, I wanted to try and do an animation I have never done before. I decided to create a Signboard. Doing a signboard was kinda difficult. I think it was a little harder trying to do a background for the signboard. I did enjoy creating this signboard bc it is something I have never done before.

Reflection of The Class

This class introduced me to techniques I have never used before. I enjoyed trying new things and creating different animation. I learned things I never thought I would learn. I am pleased with the course and what I learned. I am glad I took this course because all of the techniques I learned I will now be able to use it in the future and hopefully use it in my professional world. It was enjoyable creating my own animations. Even though creating each different type of animation was challenging, it was a good feeling seeing the end result. I didn’t realize how time consuming each animation was. But in the end, it was worth it. I am excited to see other animations I create in the future and also excited I have this blog to show my creations and where I began with Adobe. Thank you Professor Kent for your patients with me and also teaching me so much about animation! I truly enjoyed it!
