Stop Motion Inspirations & Storyboards

This is an original animation that reminds me of my childhood. It amazes me how they can make the background look like its constantly moving and that the character is doing the same moves yet looks like he has been moving the whole time.

This is one of the most popular animated shows. They make this look so realistic like you are watching it for the first time yet it happens over and over again. I love how everything is so detailed.

This is very creative in my opinion. You can see all of the detail and how they had to use two separate layers for each bush and fire. Even though there is more too it, I think they created different layers that not only needed to be overlapped but placed so it was double-sided.

This is very creative. You can really see how they had to do numerous stop motion pictures to create this type of movie. They really broke it down with each move in the “floss”. Very creative and very detailed!

This animation has numerous different features. You can see each animation and also what each one is doing. It is clearly thought out. It is very creative and descriptive of what the animation is suppose to be saying.

Storyboard 1

I wanted to create an ad storyboard. This ad will showcase an ad for the town Huntington Beach. It shows what people think of when they hear of Huntington Beach, California. This also shows what visitors can expect when they visit the beach in Huntington Beach, California.

Storyboard 2

This storyboard explains life against the grain. Things in life happen to everyone especially heartbreak. In this storyboard, the story starts out with a girl’s heart being full. Then, her heart gets broken by a boy. But, the end of the story ends with her heart being full again because she met someone new. I wanted to illustrate that they’re happy endings .
